Family deals and activities in the Park

Something for everyone
The Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park is the ideal destination for a great family day out. There is so much to see and do: explore the flora and fauna, delve into the history of medieval castles, discover local traditions, or simply relax and enjoy some quality time with your loved ones. The Park works hand in hand with local tourist destinations and providers to offer an impressive and appealing choice of activities – themed trails, summer and winter toboggan runs, festivals, artisan cheese-making and much more besides – which allow you to experience the Park's natural and cultural heritage up close.

In keeping with our commitment to sustainable tourism, the 14 activities featured in this brochure are easily accessible by public transport, minimise disturbance to local wildlife and their habitats, and are open to all. Several visitor destinations also offer travel and accommodation package deals. Check with the local tourist office. We encourage you to use public transport wherever possible.

Nature-friendly activities for all the family
Spending time in the great outdoors is good for us, but not always good for nature. But if we follow some common-sense rules, we can protect the environment while still enjoying our favourite nature-based pursuits. The Park has created a list of best practices on how to enjoy the natural space and the following outdoor pursuits responsibly:

•          summer and winter hiking
•          cycling, mountain biking
•          aerial sports
•          visiting with dogs
•          motorhomes, camper vans
•          wild camping and bivouacking
•          water sports
